Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others. Jonathan Swift

I just reviewed the topics I covered in my blog last year and the one I received the most positive feedback on was the Vision Board. People experienced much gratification in seeing their posted dreams come to fruition. This has also been the most powerful tool for me personally.

I consistently post dreams of travelling to exciting places because through travel my passion to experience new adventures is fulfilled. Many years ago I posted my desire to receive an invitation to give a presentation on marketing at an international conference my company had scheduled in October to be held in Switzerland. I specifically stated that Jeanne would come with me. I have to admit that I thought we would certainly have to pay her air fare. In the Spring I received that invitation and all expenses covered for Jeanne to come with me. One year we posted we would love to go back to Lourdes, France. That was the year a friend had a very successful year in his business and surprised the two of us with s trip to Paris and Lourdes.  My most recent posting took two years to manifest but our 14-day River Cruise in Europe will happen in a few months.

Our Vision Board has progressed from postings on poster board to a work of art hanging in a prominent place in our home. I highly recommend you consider spending time in these first few weeks the New Year to complete your Vision Board.

The following are some tips we use:

Set aside some quiet time and write down everything you can think of that you would like in your life. Do not make judgements about not being able to afford these dreams. Don’t allow sabotaging thoughts that something will be impossible to achieve. Just enjoy dreaming about what you would like to show up in your life.

  • Now, with your list of dreams before you do a Google image search and get photos of the things you wish to manifest. Magazines are also a good resource.

  • Here is my blank Vision Board. I use a nice frame that blends with other framed art work in our home. I use a red poster board for the background. In Feng Shui red is the color of attraction Red energizes everything and will engage the Law of action creating the success you seek.

  • This is what our completed 2017 Vision Board looks like on the wall where we can see it every day. Our family and our grandkids have enthusiastically picked up on this idea and are excited when something they posted materializes in their lives.

You may want to set aside time some time to allow yourself  to dream of what you would like to bring into your life.

Dear Jesse,

I did put my dream on my bulletin board and It came true in November. This desire that had been evading me was a new couch for our living room. Well when we decided to move forward on it, everything just fell into place. The saleswoman gave us a phone number for a close by charitable organization and they picked up the old sofa the day before delivery of the new one. Also the price was right and so was the color. So maybe for 2017 we will begin to do some more dreaming.

Thanks,
Dianne
