You can have everything in life you
want, if you will just help other people get what they want. Zig Ziglar Whenever a major illness happens to us or a family member a lot of effort goes into finding the best medical team to heal us. Unfortunately many of us do not spend the time or energy to seek out the best professional to assist us in living life to the fullest. I know I have a reputation with my family and friends of being a pioneer or an experience junkie, the eternal explorer of the new and different. But that passion for personal and professional growth has connected with some of the best people in their specific fields. Twenty five years ago I made two connections that have made a major change in my life. A friend told me he had a spiritual director, a Jesuit priest who encouraged him to think out of the box for spiritual growth. I called that priest to schedule an appointment. On my very first visit I knew he was the person that could help me. After visiting with him for several months he told me about a recent personal experience that had impressed him tremendously. He said he scheduled an appointment with a spiritual intuitive who told him things about his life only known to his deceased mother. She also gave him spiritual messages about his soul’s journey and how he was living that out. He said he knew that she was doing God's work because many of the things she said were supported by scripture. I assumed he had traveled to California for such an appointment. It was quite a surprise to learn she lived in Baton Rouge, LA. After that visit with my spiritual director I contacted Mary Jo McCabe and scheduled an appointment. She gave me great insight about myself and my mission in life. The following are key insights I received in a few visits with her:
I never really appreciated the power of this advice until I took the risk of posting my stories on http://www.positivepops.com/ The words that were told to me by Mary Jo are exactly what people are expressing in the comment section of my postings. It confirms that my mission in life now in retirement is to do exactly what I am doing, assisting others in living a life of abundance. You may want to check out Mary Jo’s website and become her friend on Facebook. She offers a lot of valuable information for personal and spiritual growth. http://www.maryjomccabe.com/
