"Whatever you hold in your mind on a consistent basis is exactly what you will experience in your life.”
For me the months of anticipation before the birth of each of our children were the most memorable and exciting times of our life. It was a time of being totally focused on the surprise gift that would soon be ours. There was a glow that surrounded my wife. There was the fun of those crazy cravings. We delved into the preparation of the room. We didn’t give much thought to the extra expenses of feeding and clothing our child. The focus was the gift of new birth not the expenses. We were blessed to have this experience three times as we welcomed our two sons and our daughter into the family! And now our blessings abound in the gifts of our eight grandchildren who endowed me with the cherished name of Pops, and encouraged me to create positivepops.com. Thanks to them I get to tell my story in a weekly blog posting.
I am a person that is always seeking signs to let me know what I am sharing with others is something that is working in my life. I believe if you focus on a person somehow they will show up or call within a few days. The same principle is true on what is posted on our Vision
Board that comes into our life because we spend time focusing on it. I just reviewed one thing I posted for this year when I started my blog. “I will have 1000 views a month visiting my blog”. I reached that goal in a few months and now 1000 viewers weekly are checking out my blog postings.
My wife will confirm that what happened today had both of us stunned. I asked my wife to give me my calendar because I wanted to call a friend to see if I could have lunch with him next week. She hands me the calendar and her telephone rings. She said this is an unfamiliar number and asked me if I recognized it. The person calling was the friend I was getting ready to call. The thing that still has us in awe is he has never called her telephone before.
This week you may want to spend some time focusing on what you would like to bring in your life. You may want to write a few notes in your notebook on things you plan on posting on your Vision Board for next year.
