Action is the foundational key to all success. -- Pablo Picasso Unfortunately positive inspirational books, seminars, expert guidance and professional advice will not create a life of abundance. Many people get fired up after experiencing insights into making positive changes in their lives. However once the excitement wears off they exert more energy to find another experience to keep them on a motivational high. Then there are those who will just give up and convince themselves that these ideas may work for others but none of these things are very practical or worth the effort for them to initiate into action in their lives. I have listened to people tell me their doctor has told them they could sleep better, reduce their medications, feel more energetic and prevent future health complications if they would just exercise three to four time a week for 30 minutes. Once the immediate fear of consequences recedes to the recessed part of their awareness they come up with legitimate excuses and convince themselves that it’ll happen one day, just not now. After all the gym isn’t going anywhere! Other people have told me they attempted a prosperity budget but it took too much time to post all of their receipts to manage their spending. One of the first blog postings I did was about creating a dream board. This idea received a lot of attention. I received a large number of comments and requests for guidance. Later on some people said they could not find a place to display it so they now have it in the closet. If this sounds negative and offers little hope for creating change, then I may be able to spark your interest in how simple it is for you to turn this around today. My success rate increases greatly when I receive information for positive change, make an action plan to make it happen and stay with it regardless of how long it takes to create a positive change in my life. The last three months have offered many opportunities to become discouraged and give up, even on the ideas I am sharing with others. I have been faced with many challenges that had me personally re-evaluating the validity of positive thinking and action planning. Having a success folder during these times is critical and actually just as important as having an action plan. When doubt creeps in as one challenge after another presents itself I immediately go to my folder. After reading the positive comments I have received from many of you I am encouraged. When I look over the tools in my toolbox that I use frequently I realize once again how they enable me to work through the challenges and pursue a plan of action. To get the results you are seeking to make positive changes and to live a life of abundance it is important you have your action plan, keep a folder of the successes you have achieved and have a tool box of resources to retrieve when everything seems to be going haywire. It continues to amaze me how the right book seems to fall into my hands when I need a very specific message. Most often it is books I have read many years ago but they give me the exact quote or insight relative to that week’s my blog. Today I was attracted the book that drew my attention was The Greatest Secret of All by Marc Allen. He said “We also have the capacity, here and now, to create a world that works for everyone. In these pages, you will find the secret to a life of happiness. inner peace, ease, and fulfillment, and the secret that lets each of us contribute to making the world a better place.” The following are his three secrets for manifestation:
· “The second step to discovering the secret of manifestation is to write your goals as affirmations, beginning with, ‘In an easy and relaxed manner, in a healthy and positive way…’.”
Today you may want to start with a small action like ordering one inspirational book to read. Then you will have it as a resource to assist you in moving forward with your action plan. You may also want to check our Marc Allen’s website http://www.marcallen.com/ to learn about his latest books.
